Dining with Children
Children's menus are available at McDonalds on Chester Road, Hampsons Bakers on Broady Street and Greggs Bakers and Greenhalghs on Kingsway. The Kingfisher Chippy in the Market Hall have a children's menu.
Local Interest
There are a number of attractions to enjoy within the Stretford area, not least the famous sports grounds of Manchester United Football Club and Lancashire County Cricket Club, which are both approximately one mile from Stretford Mall.
Approximately 10 minutes walk from the Centre, adjacent to Stretford Metrolink station, is the Bridgwater Canal. Accompanied nature walks along the Canal are organised regularly by Mersey Valley Wardens who can be contacted at the Mersey Valley Visitor Centre on 0161 905 1100 or by logging on to www.merseyvalley.org.uk. Also local are Sale Water Park and Stretford Ees Nature Reserve (accessible from Sale Water Park). Information on Stretford Ees can be found on www.cellcreative.net

Alternatively, Stretford Amateur Swimming Club offers leisure swimming, swimming lessons for all ages and water polo together with life saving and teacher training. Log on to www.sasc.org.uk

St Matthews Church
Volunteers have helped to reopen the Church doors at St Matthews on Chester Road, Stretford. Rev David Thomas is delighted to adopt an 'open door' policy. Visit any day between 12:30 - 1:30pm if you wish to talk or just for solace.
